1 year post implementation
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. In app pivot tables and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the out of the box reports in construction edition don't work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminated paper and manual processes. Automated billing was a huge improvement for us.
Early implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud based product. Wide variety of resources available. Future potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are navigating nuances in the NFP arena that have beeen challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We will be consolidating from using two financial platforms to one. We will also be using a Cloud-basd platform
Effortless Setup, Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I find Acumatica easy to use, which is really important for smooth operation. The support teams and VARs are fantastic, providing essential assistance, especially with access to coding the backend and handling complex issues. I also appreciate the collaboration features, which are critical for me as an administrator to keep in touch with support teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that audit logs reporting on specific fields need to be built in, instead of requiring customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to control accounting, shipping, service orders, and scheduling. It helps with clean data entry, and I'm looking forward to AI assisting with that.
Procurement
What do you like best about the product?
We love it using for procurent writing our POs and receipts
What do you dislike about the product?
reports are not easily pulled we have started using velixo to help with this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
checking in materials the po receipt function is great
Smooth Transition, Powerful Distribution Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica is SaaS managed, which fits well with our needs. We use the financials, accounting, and the distribution module, and I find these tools valuable for our operations. The initial setup was fairly easy with the help of a good partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Internal controls could be tighter. In order for someone to create a customer, they also get the authority to edit a customer profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica handles inventory ordering from sale to purchase to invoice.
Sr. Business Analyst
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards and ease of use, ability to meet our business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile application and ability to easily change settings to meet business requirements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project financials and the ability to deliver real-time information to users.
Unlock Data
What do you like best about the product?
I'm in the finance department and I love the functionality of navigating from a sales order to drilldown directly to the GL that I'm working on or vice versa. It makes it so much simpler to find answers. I'm just scratching the surface on harnessing the data with personalized GI's, but I'm excited about what I've learned at Summit 2024. There is so much data there that I'm just beginning to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few tabs in general sales orders that we never use. However, it looks like this issue will be solved with the general release in 2025 R1 when we can customize the user interface. That is going to be a tremendous help!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory tracking and handling slow and dead moving inventory. The ability to drilldown very quickly when reviewing the general ledger. The transparency and real-time data is tremendous.

Initial skepticism, but coming around
What do you like best about the product?
Josh Fischer. I don't need to be sold to, I need technical information to make informed decisions. Josh has been incredibly specific and knowledgeable, as well as organic and friendly. Personally I'm from outside the C# ecosystem, so it's taken an extra bit of effort to get more involved and see past my own inability to extend Acumatica for our specific business processes, but I'm coming around.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Open standards" or "standard agnostic" choices. In an effort to remain "database agnostic" Acumatica has default support for the worst database management platform on the planet (MSSQL et al. specifically)
Similarly, by building on the .NET framework you're locked to windows environments. While the general consensus might be critical about introducing the JavaScript ecosystem to the platform, it will open up the ability of customer companies to expand their in house teams (js is objectively easier to hire for)
That being said, what the hell is Aurelia.js? Use the de facto standards, react or angular. Aurelia's banner literally says "Join thousands creating next-generation apps"
There are millions of people using react and angular, and it has global support. Whoever decided on Aurelia probably also thought deno.js was the next JavaScript framework (hint, it wasn't, typescript was the winner)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboards and reporting are ok, but there isn't a particular reason we picked Acumatica except for the low barrier of cost entry.
Customer / Business Process User
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizabililty option - that we can create reports and manage data without extensive database knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes require a lot of clicks to work through. Staff learning curve is higher.
I'd also like greater transparency into DAC links when trying to make sure that joins in GIs work without as much trial and error

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory and shipping management - each "piece" of inventory is unique and cannot be interchanged, we are able to navigate HIPAA issues and client privacy data.
