What do you like best about the product?
I really like Acumatica's ease of use and the built-in reporting features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Acumatica could be improved with better date-driven construction reports. Also, the initial setup was challenging for us because our VAR didn't have a strong financial person who understood manufacturing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for three-way PO matching, billing and tracking tenant payments, security deposits, and ensuring all construction project costs are billed.

Highly Customizable, But Setup is Challenging

What do you like best about the product?
I find Acumatica's ability to customize to our business needs really useful, especially with a lot of customer-facing customization options. The constant innovation that stays on top of technology is something I can utilize to improve our processes. I also appreciate the move of bill approvals to Acumatica instead of relying on email, which along with business events keeps partners and executives informed about all payments. The insight into Attorney/Client Trust accounts and the ability to customize project and issue reporting are also valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the ability to merge data for different tenants lacking, which is a challenge since we have 4 tenants and 27 companies and would like to consolidate data for productivity reporting and remote worker management. Additionally, I dislike the vendor/customer security for ACH and payment info as there's no ability to add an approval mapping before making changes, which could really enhance our workflow. The initial setup was difficult due to our unique business needs and took over a year to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica provides real-time data and customization for our unique business needs, making accounting for 27 different businesses manageable and scalable.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Acumatica for its data collection and integration capabilities. The ability to get live data is particularly beneficial for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data that we brought over at go live isn't good. We didn't map data well and didn’t populate important fields. New users need to get good guidance from their partner and only bring in data that's been reviewed. Based on where we are today, nearly 3 years later, the initial setup of Acumatica was not well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica's manufacturing edition for inventory management and scheduling. I like its data collection and integration abilities, especially getting live data.

Acumatica Transformed Our BOM Costing and Streamlined Shipping

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica has helped us with BOM, material usage, and true material costs more than words could describe. It has also made it exponentially easier to view shipment details, track orders, and pick, pack, and ship packages all from one device!
What do you dislike about the product?
MRP has some random errors occasionally, but most can be figured out easily. Just wish it would warn a little earlier into the work order creation process than when I finish and save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shipping, BOM and material costs, production time, and true efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create visuals for KPIs in Acumatica. The data collection process is also something I enjoy. Additionally, I found it easy enough to manage the project setup with no previous ERP implementation experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to tell which data set to use.

Acumatica documents metrics for review and makes it easy to create visuals for KPIs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything is in one location with Acumatica. I also appreciate all the new features of AI that Acumatica offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find manufacturing production orders tying to SO problematic. Also, going too fast during setup caused some hiccups, so it's better to slow down and ensure everything is correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica manages everything from quote to cash and manufacturing. All features are in one location, including new AI tools, making operations seamless.

Traceability and Scheduling Excellence, Needs Better Reporting

What do you like best about the product?
I have liked the traceability and the production scheduling in Acumatica. We're able to track back the traceability of any product if a customer has an issue and can easily see where the production was. The production scheduling ensures that we are prioritizing the correct orders to fulfill customer satisfaction. It took some work, but overall I was impressed with the initial setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and data analysis could use work. I want to be able to easily pull data and analyze it however I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica solves production scheduling, sales order fulfillment, and cost/margin analysis. I like its traceability, which lets us track back products and ensure we prioritize correct orders for customer satisfaction.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's budgeting feature, which is very useful for us as a nonprofit. It allows us to track each individual grant and manage expenses effectively, helping us control costs and get reimbursed for expenses from funding sources. We switched from Blackbaud to Acumatica because it's more updated and makes it easier to connect in real-time with other newer systems. I have noticed that it's faster and more accurate. The initial setup was very easy, and the Blytheco team was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Acumatica could be better with more dashboards and easier customization. When comparing it with other softwares, it would be great if Acumatica provided users with more dashboards and made them easier to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for grant management and budgeting. It helps me track each grant's expenses, control costs better, and get reimbursed from funding sources. The transition to Acumatica made operations faster and more accurate.
