Feature-Rich but Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Acumatica for its interactive user interface, which contrasts sharply with our previous experience using Sage that was on a server, had limited users, and was very difficult to navigate. I like that Acumatica constantly upgrades to adapt to user requests, providing new reports and a project dashboard, and making it easy to export to Excel for further use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some reports are only date-specific and not period-specific, which is important for financial reporting. The initial setup was not easy; it was a very complex and painful process through our consultant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica's interactive user interface solves navigation issues with previous systems, allowing multiple users and easier transaction detail exploration.
Seamless Integration and Accurate Insights with Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I use Acumatica for my resort business, particularly appreciating its accounting features and inventory reconciliation. I find it helps with accuracy and timely financials. I also like the integration with other software, especially how it works with ADP for turnover stats on room costs. The setup process is almost done and has been straightforward with no problems. I'm so satisfied, I'd rate my likelihood to recommend Acumatica a 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I must request funds from a foundation. When completing this information I must fill out a capital request. This is the first process of starting the approval process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accuracy and timely financials, integrating with other software for stats on room costs.
Smooth Operations with Helpful Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's AI and automation features because they help reduce errors from manual entries. Their support team has been very helpful during our setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find showing us the profit on lots challenging.

Flexible, Stable, Yet Setup Challenges Persist
What do you like best about the product?
I use the Acumatica CRM and all of the accounting features related to project accounting, revenue recognition, month-end job costing, and timesheets. I like the stability of the program and, in particular, the flexibility to customize it. I think Velixo is genius and a perfect pairing to get the data out of Acumatica in a form everyone in our company can use without having to change the way they work.
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggle with revenue projections because we can't group projects together as a program, or create subtasks. We can't use the inventory IDs efficiently for our business. Because we are locked into using the inventory IDs for projecting revenue, we can't get the granularity we need. If we create too many tasks, our guys in the field and in engineering spend too much time on their time cards. The initial setup was awful. Our first partner was not helpful. We are with Crestwood now, but we still struggle.

I use Acumatica CRM and accounting features, eliminating the need for spreadsheets for our financial data.
Empowers Manufacturing with Real-Time Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like the manufacturing function we have from eWorkplace in Acumatica. The financials are easy as well. I appreciate that we can see real-time data for manufacturing, which helps us understand what we have, what we are working on, and what we need to order. I also appreciate that I can work on Acumatica from anywhere, which is a big upgrade from our old system, GreatPlains.
What do you dislike about the product?
The EDI integration has been less than stellar. I wouldn't call the initial setup easy, though our team managed it with our VAR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica connects to EDI and provides real-time manufacturing data, letting us see daily production, current inventory, work in progress, and reorder needs. This wasn't possible with our old system.

I leverage Acumatica for its financial AR/AP processes, eliminating manual entry and allowing for proper financial controls. The automation of many processes is something I really like, as it saves time and money.

I use Acumatica for reporting, including GI, Reports, and Dashboards, and it serves as our ERP, keeping the company's departments working together. I like that it has a user-friendly interface and a well-structured database, which makes it easy to relate tables and straightforward to enter data. We also have third-party integrations, which work well with Acumatica.

Sometimes it is slow. Loading data or when importing data.

I use Acumatica as our final platform because it's cloud-based, which allows us to bring together locations from across Canada in real time. I like its flexibility and scalability, as it allows for complete integration for all our locations and future locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user of Acumatica, I don't have any issues yet. However, the initial setup took considerable time and effort. It was both behind schedule and over budget in terms of time and money.

Acumatica being cloud-based allows me to connect our locations across Canada in real time, offering flexibility and scalability for complete integration with current and future locations.

It's not easy to implement and takes a long time to optimize the system, especially when you don't have ample time available.
