Robust Reporting but Production Tracking Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the reports and generic inquiries available in Acumatica. It helps us get access to data in just a few clicks, telling us if we have the materials needed to make parts and what needs to be ordered or made.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the production order module challenging because we have to make a lot of transactions and create many production orders, which can easily get missed. Keeping track of them has been a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica captures bills of materials, aids in ordering parts, assists the production manager, and provides quick data access. Unlike Microsoft Access, it offers reports and resolves financial reconciliation issues efficiently.
Easily Customizable to Fit Our Business Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easily customizable to specific business needs
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issues with Acumatica is that the documentation is lacking in depth. There are very basic documentation for processes but nothing about the deeper operations that are going on in the background. The lack of depth in acumatica’s documentation requires developers to look deeply into base code and internalize these processes instead of abstracting them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer for this product but for the company that I work for it solves their manufacturing needs.
Easily Accessible Data, Needs Better Training
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find data and go through an entire transaction with Acumatica. The data is easily accessible, which is really helpful for finance tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Acumatica had better trainings for implementing automation and customizations. Walkthroughs in an actual real live database would really help.

Acumatica makes data easily accessible and simplifies going through an entire transaction.
Mixed Experience with Financials, Great Data Access
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's GI capabilities because they make it easy to access data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the financials suck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Acumatica solves inventory and sales information issues, and its GI capabilities make accessing data easy.
Acumatica Makes Scaling Distribution Operations Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica allows me to scale my distribution operations with new customers easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any ERP system the data is only as good as the users. Making sure end users are trained properly while still doing their day-to-day is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 25+ retail customers all transmitting order and payment information to us. Before Acumatica everything was manually entered and now everything flows automatically from order to shipment to invoice.
Highly Customizable with Training Requirement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's flexibility, especially the customization engine, which allows me to create custom solutions when something cannot be done out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fulfilling very custom processes can be challenging.

I help Acumatica customers to automate their processes. I appreciate its flexibility, especially the customization engine when something can't be done out of the box.
Real-Time Insights, But Setup Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I love the business events and the automation features Acumatica offers, as they allow us to not have to worry about running processes manually and can show data for all our specific departments. I also love being able to build my own GI. It really helps us get data in real time and solves the issue of not having data to analyze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the report designer difficult to use. Business events are tough to troubleshoot as well. The initial setup was tough with the VAR because they didn’t know enough about our business to set it up correctly.

Acumatica lets us get real-time data, solve data unavailability issues, automate processes, and show department-specific data without manual interventions.
Fast, User-Friendly, and Comprehensive
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica provides simplicity and fast information retrieval, which is crucial for my work as a Financial Analyst. The ability to get fast information with just a click really makes my job easier. I also appreciate the access to create queries and reports without needing intervention from the IT department. This autonomy helps me get real-time data in my reports and allows me to address products with margin issues efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the new implementations they are bringing this 2026 year, are covering the past problems.

Acumatica helps me identify margin issues, access real-time data in reports, and get faster information. I appreciate the simplicity of obtaining quick information with a click and the ability to create queries and reports without IT support.
User-Friendly, But Needs Better Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its user-friendly UI, which makes it easy to understand and navigate. It's intuitive to manage and go through all modules, regardless of someone's level of expertise or training. The implementation was fairly straightforward, thanks to our partner.

I think the reporting and dashboard could be improved in terms of visualization and data customization.

I use Acumatica for data validation, tracking discrepancies with audit trails, and consolidating data into one place for easy monitoring.
Seamless Integration, Clear UI, but Needs More Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clear and easy UI as well as the ability to integrate with many pieces of software. The UI is a huge upgrade from our previous ERP and will help our employees engage on the platform more. The availability to integrate will fix manual double data entry and human error.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am looking for more functionality for project financial reports to be available in the manufacturing module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I hope Acumatica will solve data interconnectedness issues and enhance visibility. Its easy UI and integration capabilities are a big upgrade, reducing manual double data entry and errors, while increasing employee engagement.
