Eases Processes but CRM Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica automates the processes we had to do manually in the past. I also appreciate the data and reporting features. We didn't have good data before, which made our reporting terrible and very limited, but now our CSR efforts are being quantified through data. The initial setup of Acumatica was relatively easy, with no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CRM module is not working for us. It doesn't reflect our current workflow or sales cycle well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to automate processes we used to do manually and improve data and reporting, which was terrible and limited before. Now, our CSR efforts are quantified through data.
Easy-to-Use Interface That Helps New Users Hit Organization Goals
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very easy to work with. As a new user, it has been easy to pick up and use to accomplish organization goals
What do you dislike about the product?
Friendly user interface and reporting modules have been great for me as a new user. I have not noted downsides to this point

Providing us with meaningful information to make the best business decisions, specifically related to finance, shipping and fulfillment.
Efficient for Manufacturing, Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use once everything is set up. With a team of sales members that need to enter orders, being able to enter in orders and have them visible to production in real time helps the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the setup time; it's not easy. I also think the configurator could be more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for transparency into cost versus pricing, and it helps my team enter orders that are visible to production in real time, simplifying the process.
Valuable Data Access, Needs Improved Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the access to data Acumatica provides, especially through the Generic Inquiries (GIs), which allows me to have better access without relying on another group. The potential for more automation is exciting as well; we're slowly working on creating this. The ability to build what I need and value, beyond standard reports like P/L and Balance Sheets, is a big plus. I also want to learn to use Business Events for automation to alert my team on certain processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GIs took time to learn. It would be great if there was a wizard for new users to build even a simple one. Also, the initial setup was moderate. We unfortunately had a firm deadline and we were not able to fully set up Acumatica on Day 1 and are still trying to catch up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica gives me better access to data compared to our old ERP, allowing me to create custom GIs without relying on others. I also see potential for more automation, specifically using Business Events to alert my team on certain processes.

Automated Financial Reporting Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
I anticipate using Acumatica to automate financial reporting, and I really appreciate the accounts payable feature. I also like the invoice coding automation.

Flexible ERP for Small Manufacturers
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ease of use, which is important for our manufacturing operations. I also appreciate the ability to tailor the solution to our needs using low code or no code methods, which is particularly useful for a small to medium business like ours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that COGS is currently rolled into one line. We need the ability to see multiple lines. Not being able to see the details of what's going into COGS makes it hard to analyze specific material cost increases when they happen. Also, the initial setup of Acumatica was just okay, about a 6/10, mainly because we faced large data conversion obstacles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track financials, operations management, and supply chain.
Seamless Reporting with Reliable Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of reporting with Acumatica, which is really useful for accounting tasks I handle at a credit union. Integrations are another feature I appreciate, as they enhance the software's capability. I also enjoy the Excel add-on because it allows for more customized reporting.

Robust Out-of-the-Box Modules, but Lengthy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its out-of-the-box modules that don't require customization. The manufacturing module is particularly useful for managing orders, labor, and materials. The wealth of information it provides and the connections and vendor contacts it facilitates are also valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the time and attendance and payroll features lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Acumatica helpful for managing sales order allocations and enjoying its out-of-box modules. The manufacturing module supports order management, labor, and materials.
Ease of Use with Some Setup Challenges

I like Acumatica for its ease of use and functionality. It also provides great information output.
What do you dislike about the product?
For us, it would be the production order creation timing of operations in BOMs. Also, the initial setup was not easy and required a lot of planning.

I use Acumatica for materials purchasing, sales order entry, production creation and tracking, inventory tracking, and accounting.
