What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is web based program with dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A reduction in 80% time in the entry of sales orders.
Good but lots to learn
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user friendly once you have time to learn where everything is located and it is very intuitive to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The understanding of the database tables and how to are connected. For me I have used Acumatica less than a a year and my roll at my job is to create remotes but I have had trouble creating reports with the tables I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am helping my company by creating reports to operate more efficiently as well as auditing financial records. Acumatica has helped me perform my duties but there is more I need to learn and I am hoping to learn more this week.

Take time to ensure setup is done correctly
Scalable and Versatile, but Performance Can Lag
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica can scale into many different areas in our company. We use it for Customer Service, Financials, Maintenance, Inventory, and Warehousing. It manages time and cost for our technicians in Field Services effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance speed lags. This normally happens when we run monthly reports.

Acumatica is extremely user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
As a business we hesitated to switch construction accounting software, because we have worked with the same software for so long, we were afraid that some of our long time users would have difficulties learning the new software, but with Acumatica the ease of use had us sold from the start, not to mention its functionality for use in the construction industry, where we dont have many options- especially as a subcontractor, not a general contractor, where we have 35 projects running at a time, not just one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a little worried about the billing, WIP and inventory processes within accumatica, but I'm sure we will work out the kinks or find a way to make it work for us as we get through the implementation process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We own two construction companies, one is union and one is non-union. We also have a holding company and an equipment leasing company. The intercompany functionality of Acumatica will save me hours if not days worth of time when trying to close out month end books.
Manage Your Business With The Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that different departments in my business can utilize this program in a variety of ways. We can manage our inventory levels, obtain visibility on sales and orders, transfer inventory information to our website and maintain our CRM. The simple interface is also a plus when training new employees, it's very straight forward. We also like the dashboard feature for easy-to-access sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like this program to be accessible through Chrome. It's an inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are unable to utilize Acumatica through Chrome and this is an inconvenience.

Chrome. Make it work in Chrome.
Robust software, customizing reports could use a little work
What do you like best about the product?
I find that the overall interface is easy to work with. I like that I can search for GL accounts by name, and I like the detail of the construction edition features. Sub jobs, sub accounts, cost codes, and nonstock items are helpful features to track in this edition. I also do love the various reports I can run. I absolutely love the copy and template features. These are helpful when you have the same bill each month or want to keep the same format for future invoices. It is also helpful for when you have to reverse a mistake; rather than reentering all of the details, you can simply copy the previous document, paste, and fix the mistake. So much easier than a lot of other customized ERP systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that not all reports are customizable. I wish I could customize aging reports to be customer or customer-range specific and invoices. The transaction detail report is not customizable in the ways I need, but I wish it was. I also find that the user roles are very convoluted. I still haven't figured out how to give someone access to add new account in the chart of accounts. I also wish I could amend 1099 fields on a previously closed invoice, as sometimes I don't have the 1099 information at the time of receiving a bill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can export any page to excel, which helps me sort out anything I need to report or sort out that which is too specific for a general report. Going from our old accounting team's Sage 300 software, Acumatica makes so much information easier to find and amend for whatever I am being asked to report. Tracking project costs, comparing them to the budget, and the drilling down features are all very helpful and have made my project tracking easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My organization made the mistake of pushing me to implement without training, which I wouldn't recommend. Do the training because although it is easy to use once you get the hang of it, it has so many features that it requires a deeper understanding of what needs to be set up for your specific books from the beginning. Save yourself the headache, and do the training. It will be worth it.

Acumatica is endlessly flexible and continuously improving through customer focused feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there's too many ways to achieve the same thing. Glitchy at times.

Cloud based system with realtime information. Better access to system wide information
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommend experienced personnel from the business being highly involved in the implementation process and to have a good IT person on staff pre and post go-live.

Waiting to see if any problems are rectified or, if the program will cause us more problems than before.

If you are a Manufacturing company do not consider this product.
No nonsense program with great features!

Extremely user friendly program for our payroll processing needs! Acumatica features up to date software with a wonderful team to help you implement their program along the way!

A couple bugs here and there as expected.

Once set up correctly Acumatica offers a no nonsense program to get your job done quickly and efficiently
Acumatica is the best ERP I have tried
What do you like best about the product?
The framework. There is a great depth of configurability in the system with GIs, Reporting, Dashboards and more. The real star in my book though is the customization platform. Being able to utilize Acumatica's developer tools and caching framework to get the system to meet your unique needs as a company, and then having the GIs and Dashboards treat your information as a 1st class citizen is where Acumatica shines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to submit issues to Acumatica. I don't want to involve my VAR every time, and I am not always looking for a patch, but for the issue to get addressed in an upcoming release. The feedback site is decent, but sometimes there are very specific scenarios where the software does not perform as expected. This isn't necessarily an issue with only Acumatica, all ERP systems have this same flaw in my book..
The upgrade process can be a bit of a bear due to how rabidly the Acumatica system is being developed. There is so much to keep track of between releases, it can become overwhelming.

Acumatica is acting as our company ERP and Accounting system. Having the system available via browser is a great benefit for remote users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you are looking at very niche/industry specific software, I would always recommend Acumatica based on my experiences with several other ERP systems.
