Limitless Customization, Tough Setup

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the cloud-based nature of Acumatica, which is great for my needs. I also love its limitless customization abilities. This allows us to tailor the platform to fit our business model and workflows perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires lots of customizing, especially forms and reports. The initial setup was very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Acumatica's cloud-based nature and limitless customization abilities great. It tailors the platform to our business model and workflows.

Highly Customizable with Strong Performance

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica is a more modern program made this millennium. Most of the customizations can be completed without significant investment compared to its peers and with significantly less friction. I appreciate how the manufacturing module was extended to support our nutrient production line, and how we can use customizations for recurring orders, billing, and intercompany sales and transfers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the speed of Acumatica lacking. I think a data warehousing add-on would be nice, though it seems it's in the pipeline. Also, caching or support for something like the 'processing node' offered by Acumatica that could be self-hosted would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica manages ERP, procurement, production, AP, AR, and customer management. I like that modern customizations are low-cost and low-friction, with modules supporting our specific needs like nutrient production and intercompany processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Acumatica is a one stop shop for what we need in medical device manufacturing. I really like being able to customize it, which helps me optimize productivity. The initial setup was super easy for my team. Plus, we have a lot of integrations with tools like Celigo, Easypost, and Avalara, which is really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is payments

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Acumatica's customization capabilities, which our in-house development team leverages to meet our specific needs. The pricing model suits our low volume, high dollar business model well. Plus, the direct support from Acumatica makes assistance quick and easy because we don't have a VAR involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upgrade process with many customizations can be difficult to keep up with. Workflow control and field visibility could be simpler. Sometimes users complain about how much is on the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica allows us to run our entire business, storing data and handling all our reporting efficiently.

Custom Integration Highlights, But Reboot Frustrations

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for custom integration in Acumatica. I also enjoy its reporting capabilities and how it transfers information and orders to our warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're still stuck on 29hrs application shutdown or reboot. This is a huge impact on our operations. We were told that Acumatica PCS model required to reboot every 29hrs ish and there is no workaround. To this effect, application does reboots every 29/27hrs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps with sales, accounting, and quotes, handling distribution and accounting for my company. I like its ability for custom integration, and it facilitates reporting and order transfers to our warehouse.

Efficient Integration, Stable VAR Needed

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica interfaces with the other software we utilize. It makes our processes more efficient and eliminates duplicate entry of things, as the modules within Acumatica talk and work with each other. Acumatica's interface is definitely user-friendly, which is helpful because change can get difficult.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our implementation was a bit rocky, and if we had stability with our VAR, things may have been set up better. Our VAR experienced some turnover during our implementation, and it wasn't communicated to us well. Understanding the product management side of things and how it could assist us overall. Currently, only the accounting/finance team utilizes Acumatica and seeing the capabilities over the entire organization has such potential in streamlining all our systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica makes our processes more efficient by integrating modules to eliminate duplicate entries.

What do you like best about the product?
It streamlines the process for all of our employees, helping us get customers their items efficiently while keeping communication clear throughout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t dislike Acumatica. It has genuinely helped make my day-to-day tasks more efficient and organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an accountant, I find that Acumatica works well with our outside systems, like Avalara and EBizCharge. It helps our business use the tools we need while still relying on Acumatica’s services, so we can support our processes effectively and do our best for our customers.

A Steep Learning Curve That Pays Off

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Acumatica is a big improvement over our legacy system, allowing us to scale our processes and increase the capacity and bandwidth of my team. I find it helpful that it enables us to grow and scale our processes without needing to increase headcount as our business expands. The mass actions through General Inquiries (GIs), screens, and import scenarios have been a huge value add for my team. They allow us to bulk process orders and manage allocations without having to click into individual sales orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally loading speeds on General Inquiries (GIs) and dashboards have slowed down processes for us. Also, there was a steep learning curve because it functions so differently, so it was difficult to learn initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps us grow and scale our processes, reducing the need for more staff. Mass actions through GIs, screens, and import scenarios allow bulk order processing, managing allocations efficiently without individual order access.
