We are very happy with Acumatica so far. We come from an ERP that we have used since 1992
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is excel based. Makes sorting and importing easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Can not change vendor on a PO tied to a SO
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had many issues the past few years most of which acumatica make easy. We had a hard time reporting and importing/exporting data
Very user friendly, easy to learn and a breath of fresh air for our company.
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features, we left an ERP system with fairly limited reporting and limited business knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the system doesn't have a constant link between SO and PO can be frustrating. i.e a change is made on a PO but this doesn't relate back to the SO that it is tied to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting opportunities within the system will be a huge benefit for the company. In addition, over the first year after implementation we intend to become very close to a paperless company.

What do you like best about the product?
The mobile interface, the fact that all employees can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a few items during implementation that did not work as we expected. The over -time was a big one - we needed a customization to get it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time cards and reviews are easier.

Be sure you have a good VAR that is responsive to your needs

That reports are linked to other reports and information needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
That projects default to being on hold which requires going back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has saved me time. I have about 20% more time since we have implented Acumatica.
New User: Optimistic and Hopeful
What do you like best about the product?
I like that ACU can becomes the single source of data truth for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more we want to utilize ACU for our business needs, it feels like we need to keep adding integrations, modules, etc.

Cost accounting, Wip accrual, Project management,
Stabilized - now how to Accelerate?
What do you like best about the product?
We haven't come across a key business process that we haven't been able to tackle in Acumatica. Easy to get the basics and availability of data. Unlimited partner potential. Now that we have it working well (we're in year 5), our focus is on all the ancillary power we are yet to unlock.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some B2C fails like matching payments, refund process, CRM in an ecom environment. Can also be a resource hog - we need a much bigger instance to run our biz than we were originally quoted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First time we've had true integrated accounting, which is key. See ways (the accelerate part) where we can automate processes. In a remote world, you simply need a system this robust to run a biz with any level of complication.
Acumatica Success
What do you like best about the product?
A cloud based system which everyone on our team has access providing actionable data to everyone in the organization, It seemlessly integrates with Shopify for a full ecommerce system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the systems tie together well for better customer experience. Example Business Accounts only show Sales Orders vs SO, Projects and Service Orders. This would be a great one stop solution for sales.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased transparency and source of truth in one location. We have seen a large financial impact on our business increasing our profits by 6%.
Way happier with Acumatica than Netsuite
What do you like best about the product?
We love that it's user friendly so our employees don't try work arounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I"m not thrilled with the basic looks of the user experience. But it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're just happy to have a fast website again and are no longer restricted in what we can do in marketing.
The open ended ERP Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect all of our other solutions to Acumatica with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CRM needs more development to meet the customer service standards of an ecommerce company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Netsuite we had to buy multiple modules to do our daily business. With Acumatica they have built in solutions and easy to connect solutions that don't cost an arm and leg... Just an arm.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the switch but give yourself 18 months to get full up and running. This is a great software but be patient and put in the work with your VAR to make sure it's the way your business needs.
