Overall very positive experience, but definite challengers related to our e-commerce business
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features for acumatica for us is the ability to access data easily and quickly The Generic Inquiries and OData make it possible to run our reports quickly and let our managers spend time on the business and not on the reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in functionality for shipping and distribution does not suit our high transaction style of e-commerce business. We have had to heavily customize the system in order to be able to operate efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, data and reporting is something we have seen tremendous gains in. The number of hours spent mining data has been cut down astronomically.
I've found Acumatica to be a simple to use and scalable tool to meet our business needs

Lack of workflow features (maybe just lack of knowledge from my VAR?)

What do you like best about the product?
We moved from 4 separate systems to 1 (Acumatica) and it has made things a lot simpler for us. It has simplified a lot of processes. It has streamlined our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The expense reporting is getting updated in 2020 and I am really looking forward to that, so I can attach receipts to the current expense reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's integrated a lot of our processes with opportunities and projects into our financials as well. It is all real-time, so you don't have to wait for anything to update.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is an incredible easy to use, robust ERP which makes every aspect of our business run more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of a thing I don't like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with Acumatica and our reseller, we were able to roll out a customization for paying external commissions. Having this in place saves the users valuable time that had been used tracking everything manually with spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
We are getting Acumatica for the sales and distribution, so being able to deal with a global distribution company and integration with e-commerce platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a pretty small footprint (from a market share), so the user community is much smaller.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The turning and typing (and manual entry)... and we are streamlining our processes into the 21st century.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is available from any internet connected device. I like the search capabilities as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are primarily a construction-based company, so we are an early adopter - so there are still some construction items that are being built up rapidly (but there are still missing pieces).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that we solved are that we have various different lines of business that before were not centralized in one line of business system, so Acumatica has allowed us to bring them in one system.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the system's ability to be customized for automation, and it has greatly benefitted our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to troubleshoot and fix errors when processing documents and such in the system. Often errors occur, and we have to create tickets for IT to diagnose and fix.

I have been able to program reporting effectively using the tutorials.

Ensure that the system you choose will have the ability for customization.

What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly and an all inclusive product.
What do you dislike about the product?
No payroll feature, but it is coming soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounting and Inventory communicating all under one system
So many different vendors with very enlightening easy to use options.
What do you like best about the product?
I have not been using it for that long but really enjoying the features that make certain things very quick and easy, copying and pasting GL entries, quick reversals, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am relatively new so learning where everything is, i am not familiar with dashboarding yet, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
efficiency efficiency efficiency, using velixo currently which has much better refresh options, importing large journal entries only takes seconds.
