What do you like best about the product?
During the shutdown, the fact that Acumatica is cloud based made it so incredibly easy for us to enable our employees to work from home.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cloud based is a double edged sword.... because you are going over the internet, so many factors beyond your control can slow your system down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a fully integrated system eliminates double entry of data and the problems/errors associated with it.

What do you like best about the product?
This ERP covers everything for our organization. From tracking shipments, to customer service cases, to production and everything in between. Supporting our users from an IT Management perspective, is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation was a little daunting, however once it was up and running, it was smooth sailing! Which is good, because Acumatica Support leaves much to be desired. Their partners are way more useful than Acumatica themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to consolidate multiple systems into a single environment. Saving time creating spreadsheets and reports manually, we can now do at the click of a button. Generating custom inquiries couldn't be more simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is your do-everything solution. Don't get stuck thinking this is only for one aspect of your business. This will help your business in every way. When you decide to make the move: Do your homework and get an integration partner. Plan out your processes ahead of time. If we hadn't done this, we would have been lost during implementation. You won't regret it.

A great solution for small business

What do you like best about the product?
Ecommerce is such an important part of our business and Acumatica is in front of the train when it comes the momentum towards ecommerce away from traditional sales methods. We made the switch to Acumatica to streamline order information from Amazon and Shopify and while also making our distribution, wholesale, and manufacturing orders much easier to manage. The minute adjustments that you can make to EVERYTHING is so helpful, but it's a double-edged sword. It's overwhelming to work through all of the user roles to get them to the right level of functionality/productivity while also blocking sensitive information from certain users. Pretty much any field/task can be blocked, but it's unclear until testing how the disabling of a field will muck things up down the line. You really have to test out all of the bugs!
What do you dislike about the product?
We are on the smaller end of Acumatica customers being a manufacturer/ecommerce business of 20 people, so this was a very expensive/scary move for us and we lacked some of the technical know-how to move in the right direction during the initial stages of development. We had create and re-create tables and work flows multiple times because we didn't get the hand-holding we were expecting during the design process. If you get a development consultant that takes the time to understand your products during the early stages, then this should not be as much of a problem for you. My advice is that you should have somebody on staff that really understands relational database structures before launching on your Acumatica journey as this 60% of the work. When all is said and done, Acumatica is a very powerful tool that is worth the investment for even a small business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web Integrations, sales analytics, more efficient work flows, and much more robust accounting than what we were doing prior.

No dislikes or issues at this time. Still learning all aspects of the system.

I am looking forward to using the bank reconciliation features in Acumatica.

The Cloud Was A Game Changer

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Acumatica for us was the ability to access the system from anywhere. We went live in late March of 2019, right at the height of the pandemic. Acumatica allowed us to easily transition our office staff to working remotely, which would not have been possible with our legacy system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I can say I dislike. I could nitpick at a few minor features, but it would be doing a disservice to the platform. However, if I had to select one improvement I wish would be made, it would be the ability to generate production order from the inventory replenishment screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeing benefits in almost every aspect of our business including reductions of inventory on-hand, improved cash collections, data entry processing time, IT cost savings, and my personal favorite A 75% REDUCTION IN PAPER USAGE.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set an implementation plan, have full team buy-in, dedicate the resources needed to meet the plan, and execute the plan.

What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is great at snapshot report generation and pushing alerts/notifications/emails based off of those reports. Our business fluctuates and these tools help us to stay updated/notified.

The customization projects are a great way to increase the functionality of the system. With developer knowledge, you can easily design and create solutions/workflows to meet any business demand and process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Those same reports lack some analytical functionality such as the ability to do financial trending. There are add-on options which are very useful to solve these issues and this is something we as a business are looking into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demand planning and forecasting issues. Regarding these issues, we have not seem much benefit.

I am creating a solution to notify the Purchasing department regarding supplier performance and late deliveries, due to COVID-19, logistics is less reliable so we need to be informed as early as possible so we can make the best decision in response.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that we can improve our financial errors, every detail about project expenses is established in the reports that Acumatica ERP Cloud offers us and thanks to that we know where we are failing and we improve quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is high and a bit difficult to overcome for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We always wanted to obtain great improvements in our financial reports, project management and cost analysis, so we turned to this software and decided based on its easy accessibility to obtain it, and we are very happy, because it has been a great decision.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to immerse yourself in the functions of Acumatica ERP Cloud, because it is very profitable, you can monitor costs, improve your financial analysis and access them when you need it.

What do you like best about the product?
Utilizing Acumatica, you can access your business and financial application from anywhere on the planet utilizing a standard internet browser. They give non-programmers an easy to utilize online interface to create inquiries and add to the framework, a client can then work with the questions in various ways. A totally cloud-based ERP arrangement is a major improvement over our earlier in-house specialist arrangement. The framework is easy to use, which makes training a breeze. . Acumatica even gives a versatile application which allows you to access data from anywhere around the globe. Access the same data from your cell phone as you could from a PC. You can do anything and the basic dashboard is already amazing in itself. Incredibly vivacious, the adaptability of software arrangement, and the ability to download data into Excel or PDF records. It has made customer relation management so easy and reliable for us. Incredibly amazing at whatever point used adequately. Cloud based, is apparently amazingly versatile, and lots of patches/updates. . A good, basic Product Management (PM) module allows you to plan and follow undertakings and tasks inside the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The evaluating structure of acumatica is too hard to even consider understanding. Its email framework could be even more adequately integrated and I really wish if they could give templates. Customization requires improvement capacities. The gadget is somewhat costly for new associations. You have to pay a ton to utilize it to its full degree.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Non-technical clients can utilize web tools to generate reports, adjust work process, and add client characterized fields and change the screen appearance. Since I started using this tool, it has served our company well and the planning of our company programs is convincing.
