Acumatica review
What do you like best about the product?
Its browser-based user experience (UX) is excellent, with a feature-rich environment accessible via an intuitive user interface (UI)
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't charge per user. its pricing structure is very different from what other ERP software companies offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ERP, general ledger accounting, and inventory management.

Browser-based access to one version of the truth.

Marketing CRM functions could have more meaningful integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Acumatica, I had a number of spreadsheets and spent a lot of time manually reporting and then sending emails about said reports. With Acumatica, activities can be tracked at the contact level, tasks can be assigned for follow-up to fellow users, and there is a long history on the relationship in one centralized area (as opposed to inboxes, notes or info that simply leaves when an employee leaves). This centralized intelligence makes a better customer experience with less time required by the organization.
Streamlined Processes
What do you like best about the product?
We have been on Acumatica since the fall of 2020. While it took us a bit to get it going, we have found that it streamlines processes and allows staff to focus on more important things. The reporting functions are falling into place, and data provides visibility into items we did not have information on before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process was slow and painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my particular role, I find that the visibility into customer history and inventory are the most important features that I use on a daily basis.
Great Experience So Far
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy to use Acumatica is. I like that you can add integrations to customize it to your needs. I love that they have a Summit each year to connect and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you are stuck with your partner when you are onboarding. We had a bad experience and finally switched partners to a great one. But I wish the initial switching process would have been easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working towards less paper in the office. We are slowly accomplishing this goal. We have a lot more plans for the future and how we can minimize the overlap of work and paperwork across departments.
Emerging Cloud software
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the community is very involved and Acumatica takes responses from its users and actually implements them into reality, versus just keep ignoring requests that users would like to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest thing we have is that Acumatica is a young but very eager growing company. Some challenges we run into involve the company not understanding all the elements that some other software companies offer, but I know Acumatica is taking the conversations and helping implement them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything being cloud based and not relying on a server. Able to work from the field and having everything right at your fingertips. Also, no more paper/elimiation of a lot of paper.
Great system with lots of costumization options
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible system with a lot of options to customize it to fit the organization. Friendly user environment where it has the agility for our modern business life. Other software can easily can be integrated to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software needs a lot of training time to utilize its full capabilities or needs outside resources, including consultants and developers, to do the modification or the customization that company is looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica is providing an integrated system that helps our Finance Department in AP, AR, Grant Management, Fixes Assest and others then give us the flexibilities to customize different screens and make our job more effecint.
Acumatica System Review
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the intuitive search capabilities the most. It allows me to search and find what Im looking for without having to type the exact term, which is extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the system came with more out-of-the-box dashboard widgets that are relevant to my use inside the system. I also want the system to include better reporting systems out-of-the-box as well. We spend a large majority of our time having to write custom reports that prevent us from executing other tasks, slowing down our productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica has solved a litany of issues for us. Our previous system was completely inadequate, so Acumatica has enabled us to have a much better visibility of our inventory, sales and accounting as a whole. It's enabled us to have a much better understanding of our inventory ownership, freight costs and outstanding AR.
Acumatica has been good overall.
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica is overall a very user-friendly ERP software. Navigation of the software is straightforward and easy to train new people in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out of the box reports are lacking in data and creating new reports can be difficult and time comsuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting our company onto one ERP system, streamlining information through the company. We are noticing information at more of a real-time in with our older ERP systems.
Forward thinking product
What do you like best about the product?
For me being able to access my data from anywhere, any device, any platform is key. I have enjoyed the user interface and the ability to filter and export data easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a payroll module user. Very happy with many things but this has a few enhancements needed. That being said, I am happy to be working with a software provider that listens and takes feedback for fixing issues and adding features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to control accounts payable processes was key for us. The system has many features that allow us to do this. Beyond that it takes us less time to process month end accounting with and easier UI.
A great summit for new users.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the great helpful people at the summit. The marketplace was excellent for me as a new user of Acumatica. Hearing how others use the software and other applications was extremely timely with the current rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot say there was anything that has been a negative thus far. The Acumatica group is extremely helpful and professional. I have not attended my training yet and I look forward to digging in deeper into the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currenlty using three different ERP systems and are trying to get all of our manufacturing facilities on one standard software. This is one of our major problems today.
