Accumatica functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
There are focus modules around payroll, financial management,project accounting within the Accumatica suite. Also, the reporting and analytics along with multi-tenant design for their cloud is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to SAP, Accumatica seems to not have too much emphasis around SQL syntax like SAP does. Accumatica may be little easier to use and as a result, it sacrifices on the detail at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping to create custom views of the data while in turn focusing on what to include for capital budgeting and use cases in finance. Acumatica also is tying nicely well in the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
ONCE WE START USING IT FOR EVERYTHING THAT IT IS INTENDED, I'M HOPING THAT IT WILL ELIMINATE ALL THE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS I HAVE TO OPEN TO GET ALL THE INFORMATION I AM LOOKING FOR.
What do you dislike about the product?
WHEN I'M SEARCHING FOR PROJECTS FOR MY REGION, EVERY TIME I OPEN ONE OF THEM, I HAVE TO START MY SEARCH OVER WHEN I'M FINISHED. IT WOULD BE MORE EFFICIENT IF IT WENT BACK TO WHERE I WAS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ELIMINATING THE NEED TO USE 3 OR MORE PROGRAMS TO GET THE SAME INFORMATION. THIS WILL SAVE SO MUCH TIME THAT COULD BE SPENT DOING SOMETHING MORE PRODUCTIVE. EVERYTHING I NEED IN ONE PLACE
Heavily Customized ERP
What do you like best about the product?
We are retail brokers, and there is no standard ERP to fit our business. The most challenging part in building our customization was switching between customers and vendors - we charge vendors with service fees and share a part of it with our customers. We needed our own Sales Orders and Payments screens, as well as many and many additional fields in standard form. Acumatica has great framework to do any possible customization. Also, all the available training, online in Open University,training provided on annual Summits, Cloud Developers Conference and some other sources allowed us to became masters in own customized Acumatica ERP.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need improvement in the reporting tools, it’s nice to see great improvement I generic, looking forward for improved pivot tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Acumatica we were able to replace custom legacy system, and still working in converting several applications into Acumatica. The benefit of it would be data integrity and simplified user interfaces.
Better System All Around
What do you like best about the product?
I had been recommending NetSuite for a while until I met a colleague who knew a lot about Acumatica. I had known about Acumatica before, but just not in very much depth. He explained all of the ways Acumatica had passed up the old leaders, and I was thoroughly impressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I think that Acumatica's biggest problem in the US is that not enough people know about it unless you are very familiar with the finance & accounting software solutions out there. I think that if the word got out more (at least where I'm from in the Western US region), people would realize how good the product is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think that Acumatica is solving many problems. Still, a couple of those are: the way the data structure is set up allows for a smoother and often shorter implementation time and easier customizations, and the biggest one for me is that you own your data.
A very intuitive system in constant improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and easy to use and learn, also the functionality and usability are very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike the functionality of the system, maybe an opportunity of development is to keep adding more vertical-oriented functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system makes really simple to deploy and update an environment without much technical involvement. This reduces the time of a new project setup.

What do you like best about the product?
Connects all the Company (modules), Centralized Data (Standardized), Better Data Cloud Security
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult implementation in the Country Localization (México Localization). Too much requirement for the autority
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MultiCompany Transactions, Multi Currency Transactions
User-friendly, flexible software for accountants and workers who are not accountants
What do you like best about the product?
I'm an Acumataholic! I like that Acumatica allows non-technical users to change screens easily. We can select the fields we want on the screen, sort & re-arrange fields on the screens, in look-up windows and change our navigation menus. I like adding filters to grids and preview lists, even in the "look-up" screens. I like the search capabilities and the friendly community! I like being able to create database snapshots (backups) without needing SQL Server. I like the way different documents and screens "Cross-populate" each other: the ability to see the Bills on a Check that paid them, see the Check on the Bill that was paid, see a collection of change orders right on the related project, see vendors with prices on inventory items I've bought from the vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
After attaching a file, I often want to delete it, and I'd like to have the 'trash can' right THERE on the Files list instead of opening up the separate File Maintenance tab and then closing it again. In the case of an error message, I would like the messages on Tools-Trace to be easier to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today in the 2022 R2 Launch, Acumatica provided the ability to track installation units on projects. For example: In addition to the total # of Bricks and the $$ price of the bricks on the project budget, we will be able to see # bricks installed by each employee each day on the timecards. One of our customers has requested this.

What do you like best about the product?
Mobile app provides great resource to allow survey and installation field techs and service/warranty techs to provice immediate feedback to our management and operations team. New annotation feature for drawings has long been desired.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequently disappointed when attempting to utilize Acumatica University to research and then broaden my skill of use of Acumatica. Seems content has become outdated with the DEMO tenant our Partner has provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization of applications we currently use to manage our finance, project management, scheduling, inventory and warehouse management, automation of expense reporting.
New features helpful for building new customer ecosystems
What do you like best about the product?
Acumatica creates a client ecosystem that can become a "one-stop shop" for many customers. This allows them to create a quick click through system for business all in one place rather than having a million different portals to fit their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training can seem difficult for some, especially construction industry people who have a more difficult time leaning into and using new technologies. A training portal tom input some information for trialing the software interactively would be cool and useful for some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica is solving quicker click-through and more canceling capabilities to cancel certain action items while also recording and keeping tabs on this so that there is no confusion about what people have done in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
The built in wiki that defines functionality on each page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend logic to the tenant linking for switching between. Based upon user experience, it seems to require a user login using the same password between each tenant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not applicable for my position/usability for Acumatica.
