What do you like best about the product?
Tenable Nessus has been the industry standard for many years. This is because it will do everything that you need it to do while scanning your infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nessus may require some technology knowledge higher than a normal user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nessus shines a light on the short comings of some security configurations in our environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Tenable Nessus Professional is widely praised for several key features that make it a preferred choice for vulnerability management BUT I want to focus my review on why it make sense for you if you have a lot of IP to scan.
Most of the scanners have licenses per IP, so if you have wide ip ranges, licenses fee would be astronomious.
You will need to accomodate the limited reporting and vulnerability management feature of the proffessional version.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nessus Professional need some good process OR automation to get the most of it as you dont have any 'quality of life' feature like dashboard, tracking and limited automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tenable Nessus solves problems related to cybersecurity, primarily by helping organizations identify vulnerabilities in their networks, systems, and applications. The benefits include enhanced security and compliance.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The Nessus scans give us insight into areas we might have vunerabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
The past scans can take up disk space. I haven't found a good way to automatically remove the old ones.

Nessus scans our systems for vulnerabilities. We are able to prioritize our updates from the scans.

I started using Nessus as a undergrad student and it was so easy that I could run scans without any tutorials.

There is nothing to like about it. Although the UI can be modernise

Its accuracy is really high while scanning for vulnerabilities. along with this it has large supported plugins for extend coverage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can deep dive for product like Zscaler or Netskope

it is helping to scan vulnerability in my hybrid environment. also this is integrayed with HCL BigFix.

What do you like best about the product?
Tenable Nessus is very efficient and effective tool which is used for security, network, vulnerability scanning and managing. Its interface is very user friendly. The scanning and reporting is automated which increases the productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have to fetch report for a longer period then scanning and reporting takes lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It scans all the devices and assess the vulnerabilities related to the devices as it helps indentifying vulnerabilities it prevents system at risk regularly.

Lesser options for reports and dashboards.

I Lead internal IT Audits in organization. Nessus beeing portable, quick and easy is best suits for me in performing vulnerabiliry scanning in different zones / Subnets.

What do you like best about the product?
Tenable nessus scanner is user friendly and the UI of this tool is soo easy to use that anyon can understand and use it effectively. It is best vulnerability scanning and network scanning tool. The scanning and reporting task can be automated which is the best feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it uses more time for the scanning and reporting otherwise this is the best for vulnerability scanning and network scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is checking the vulnerability and systems at risk regularly so that data or any important system do not get compromised and provide reports also.

I would like to appreciate the knowledge base of Tenable nessus which gives us a clear overview of the vulnerabilities
