CloudFormation script for Meetrix Coturn server
This deployment launches Coturn on an Amazon EC2 instance within a secure VPC, providing a reliable TURN and STUN server for NAT traversal. The solution includes IAM roles for integration with AWS services such as Route 53 for domain based SSL configuration. The AMI is preinstalled and configured, allowing users to relay traffic for WebRTC, VoIP, and peer to peer applications immediately after launch. UDP and TCP relay modes are supported, and security groups control access to required ports. This architecture is designed for low latency communication, scalability, and secure media relay on AWS.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on ""Continue to Configuration"". Coturn UDP mode is ready to use on 3748 port. Coturn TCP mode is ready to use on 443 port and need SSL properly setup. Coturn will automatically try to setup SSL based on provinded domain name, if that domain hosted on Route53. For that its using a IAM role to grant permission for access Route53 because its using letsencrypt dns based ssl setup method. Please make sure your turn domain name hosted on route53. If its unsuccessful then you have manually log into coturn server through ssh and run /root/certificate_generate_standalone.sh (have to point turn domain into server) or /root/certificate_generate_dns.sh. server by default configured to use static-auth-secret. Admin Email is acquiring for generate SSL certificates. For more information please read our developer guide: https://meetrix.io/articles/coturn-developer-guide/ "
