    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    1: Sign in to the AWS EC2 Console.

    2: Click Launch Instance to start a new server.

    3: In the AWS Marketplace, search for and select the Odoo AMI published by Webkul Pvt. Ltd.

    4: Choose an instance type. Recommended: t4g.medium or larger for optimal performance.

    5: Under Key Pair, select an existing key pair or create a new one (.pem file). Save this file securely.

    6: Configure Network Settings: Public IP: Ensure a public IP is assigned. Elastic IP is recommended for a fixed address. Security Group Rules: Allow TCP Port 22 (SSH) Allow TCP Port 80 (HTTP) Allow TCP Port 443 (HTTPS)

    7: Launch the instance and copy its public IP or Elastic IP (after attaching it to your EC2 instance) from the EC2 dashboard.

    8: Connect to the instance via SSH: ssh -i /path/to/yourpemkey.pem ubuntu@<your-public-ip>

    9: Run the odoo-setup script with the following command: sudo bash /home/ubuntu/odoo-setup.sh Follow the prompts in the terminal to configure Database and odoo service.

    10: Once Dtatabase and odoo service is configured, open odoo through http://<pub_IP>:8069 on web browser. The Odoo web interface will load. Complete the initial setup by creating your admin user.

    11: And for the Lets Encrypt free SSL run the script with the following command: sudo bash /home/ubuntu/ssl-setup.sh Follow the prompts in the terminal to configure the ssl and Nginx.

    12: After installation, your Odoo backend (admin panel) and frontend (website) will be accessible via your domain.
