What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD is automations whereby I don't have to do the manual deployment of the final APK or IPA for iOS, so I mostly use it as a CI/CD pipeline for automation.
I use Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD for automation in my workflow when I'm requested for an app by the security team or by the quality team. I just build the APK, make the necessary changes, commit the code, and then the pipeline picks it up to do the building of the app and share it with the necessary parties.
What is most valuable?
Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD has helped me save time, especially for tasks that are required to be done day-to-day, and it has a feature that allows me to configure it based on my needs, such as having it watch a specific branch or do custom tasks specific to me or the business needs.
The best features Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD offers in my experience are mostly automation, since that's what I focus on, and its configurability.
In terms of configurability, Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD lets me customize it to my specific needs using scripts. If two of us have the same version, I can make my app build and then send an email to the QE and another email to the security team, which I can configure in my own pipeline, and I can do code reviews specific to my codebase.
Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD has positively impacted my organization with faster turnaround times, faster deployments, uniform code, and uniform processes, making it easier to maneuver through the complex work environment since we have one thing that surely works.
Regarding the faster turnaround time with Bitrise Enterprise for Mobile CI_CD, the normal process meant building an app, uploading it to the Play Store, and sharing a link to my testers or adding them to test groups, but that reduces to one line of code now. I just commit my code and push it to the branch we have it configured with, then it takes over from there.
