    Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) is an AI-powered, cloud-native monetization platform built on AWS for managing, stitching, optimizing, and tracking video advertisements at scale, including support for interactive and engagement-driven ad experiences. Organizations often struggle with fragmented tech stacks, rigid ad server integrations, and complex development overhead when attempting to monetize their video catalogs. DAI consolidates these capabilities into a unified platform that automates server-side media stitching and improves operational monetization efficiency. The platform is architected to natively support two core monetization streams to fit diverse assets inventory needs. For direct-sold campaigns or internal promos, the solution manages an owned assets inventory workflow—stitching assets stored securely in customer-managed S3 buckets or CDNs. For programmatic demand, the solution seamlessly integrates with external ad networks and exchanges (such as Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager) via standard ad tags, allowing external Ad Decision Servers (ADS) to resolve the highest-value bids in real time based on contextual targeting rules. The platform supports configurable Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Post-roll, and Ad Pod placements, enabling flexible monetization strategies across Video-on-Demand content. In addition to traditional video ads, the platform supports interactive ad formats and rich media experiences to drive higher viewer engagement and monetization opportunities. Upon video ingestion and integration, media workflows are standardized using VAST protocols to ensure broad player compatibility and support advanced interactive advertising capabilities. To enhance ad relevance, the platform leverages Generative AI through Amazon Bedrock to perform automated transcription, scene analysis, object detection, and metadata enrichment. This enables downstream ad servers to deliver highly targeted, contextually relevant advertisements without compromising the viewing experience. Enterprise-grade operational observability is built directly into the core architecture. DAI focuses reporting on critical platform health indicators, fill rates, and video-level impression events, ensuring reliable delivery while allowing downstream ad servers to manage granular engagement and quartile-based reporting.
