Lux Sync - Real-Time State Synchronization
Keep your app's state in sync across every device and browser tab, in real time, without running a message queue. Lux Sync is a ~1 KB client SDK plus one lightweight sync endpoint you deploy in your own account. State is local-first, so reads are instant and work offline; changes sync in the background. No Kafka, no RabbitMQ, no ZooKeeper.
Why teams choose Lux Sync
Real-time dashboards, AI agents, internal tools, and collaborative UIs usually mean standing up an enterprise message queue, then inheriting partition management, consumer groups, and a cluster to babysit. That is a lot of operational weight for what is really a state-sync problem. Lux Sync replaces it with a purpose-built engine small enough to embed in the browser and fast enough for latency-sensitive workloads.
How it works
- Drop-in browser SDK - Add @voxell/lux (JavaScript/TypeScript, ~1 KB, zero dependencies, no build step). It handles caching, an offline queue with replay, and reconnection.
- Your endpoint, your account - Deploy the sync endpoint on Cloudflare Pages + KV, or the broker container on Amazon ECS, EKS, or EC2. The SDK points at your endpoint; nothing routes through Voxell.
- Local-first, last-write-wins - Reads hit the local cache instantly, even offline. Writes sync in the background. Optional WebSocket push delivers updates the moment they change.

Security
- Encryption in transit - TLS 1.2+ served by the broker out of the box, or terminated at your ALB, Kong, or NGINX with your own certificate.
- No data at rest - Lux Sync is in-memory and local-first. State lives in the client and in broker memory; nothing is persisted server-side, so there is no datastore to breach. Optional durability is bring-your-own and inherits your store's encryption.
- Signed licensing - The broker license is an RS256-signed token verified locally on boot. API keys are 128-bit random secrets.

- OpenTelemetry native - The broker exports OTLP metrics to any OpenTelemetry Collector you run. Route them to Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch, with no vendor lock-in and nothing broker-specific to maintain.
- Zero hot-path cost - Metrics are emitted off the synchronization path, so observability never slows a write. Opt-in.

Vendor refund policy
Lux Sync software charges are eligible for refund if cancelled within 48 hours, consistent with AWS Marketplace handling. After 48 hours, Voxell reviews refund requests case by case for duplicate purchase, activation failure, billing error, or unresolved product defect.
