Testkube is a test orchestration platform that runs any type of automated test, integrates with any CI/CD tool, and leverages your existing cloud-native infrastructure.
    4.6

    Overview

Testkube is a test orchestration platform that enables teams to centrally run, manage, and observe any type of automated test, integrated with any CI/CD tool, across any cloud-native environment. By decoupling testing from CI/CD pipelines, Testkube eliminates brittle pipeline logic and provides a scalable foundation for continuous and agentic testing.

    Highlights

    • Run Any Test on Your Existing Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Testkube orchestrates any type of automated test directly on your existing infrastructure. No external testing grids, no simulated environments. Tests run where your applications run, giving you production-like consistency, full data sovereignty, and predictable costs without adding new infrastructure.
    • Integrate with Any CI/CD Tool. No Lock-In. No Rewrites: Testkube decouples test orchestration from CI/CD pipelines, so you can integrate with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo CD, or any tool in your workflow. Reuse your existing test suites across pipelines and environments without rewriting a line.
    • Centralized Observability and Control Across All Testing: Stop chasing results across fragmented pipelines and dashboards. Testkube provides a single control plane to run, manage, and observe all automated tests across tools and environments. Centralized execution logs, artifacts, failure analysis, and health scoring reduce mean time to resolution from hours to minutes.

    End to End Kubernetes Testing

    Reviewed on Oct 25, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It helped my team to create end to end test scenarios for a machine learning application deployed within the cluster. It also supported seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. A good thing about Testkube is that it is open source so a lot of information is available over the web. The command prompt console comes in handy for our developers while firing commands with parameters. It also helped me in model validation of the machine learninf application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chaos testing functionality needs to improve. The process of injecting chaos is not efficient. Simultation for testing sceanarios related to failure could not be captured efficiently. Debugging the breakpoint in the console should also be provided to see the exact point of failure during load test
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped in providing stabilityof infra and apps in Kubernetes application. It also helped in testing the functionality of the microservice. Also helped in testing cloud native services in Platform or Infra as a Service. The Service oriented architechture is robust. It helps to predict the failure point of the Kubernetes cluster thus increasing robustness of the service

Testkube - Cloud Native Testing Framework

    Reviewed on Oct 21, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It is an open source, cloud native testing framework where users can use mutiple testing tools and has user-friendly web UI and CLI for better visibility and management to orchestrate and perform automated testing. It can run the tests inside the K8s cluster, integration with CI/CD, provides centralized dashboard and storage of test artifacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no any Role Based Access Control for the testkube setup that has been locally installed. This causes us with the limitation that mutiple users can't be created to provide different permissions to access the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in each of the software development process such as Developers uses TestKube to test their core application business logic, DevOps teams uses it to integrate with CI/CD automation and QA team ensures that Kubernetes applications are functioning correctly in different scenarios.

    Best Testing Framework

    Reviewed on Oct 16, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Testkube framework is helping us to run custom tests through Postman inside Kubernetes,
it helps in debugging running pods inside Kubernetes and helps me test and debug bugs during the production phase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not found any cons in Testkube yet. The price may be a bit high for large org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After creating pods for any service inside Kubernetes it was hard to debug if there was any problem or bug. but Testkube solved our problem by providing API testing software like Postman inside Kubernetes so that we could manually test requests and responses through Postman during production.
