Overview Coolify is an open source, self-hosted platform as a service that gives you a single dashboard for deploying and managing applications, databases and services on your own server, without per-seat fees or vendor lock in. Push from a Git repository or a Dockerfile and Coolify builds, deploys and reverse-proxies your app, complete with automatic HTTPS, environment management and one-click databases. This image delivers Coolify fully installed as a Docker compose stack and run as a system service, so a production grade self-hosted PaaS is running within minutes of launch.
Application Stack The Coolify application installed from the official installer as a Docker compose stack: the Coolify app, a PostgreSQL database, a Redis cache and a realtime websocket server. Docker Engine installed and configured as the build and deployment runtime. The entire Coolify state tree, holding the application database, your per-application build state, managed SSH keys and configuration, stored on a dedicated data disk so it is independently resizable and survives instance replacement. A systemd service that brings the stack up on boot. The dashboard published on port 8000, and Coolify's own built in Traefik proxy on ports 80 and 443 routing traffic to the applications you deploy.
Self-Hosted PaaS Connect a Git repository or point Coolify at a Dockerfile or a Docker Compose file and deploy with a click. Coolify manages the build, the container lifecycle and a Traefik based reverse proxy with automatic Let's Encrypt certificates. Spin up managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, KeyDB and other databases, deploy from a catalogue of ready made services, manage environment variables and secrets, schedule backups and stream live build and runtime logs, all from one dashboard on your own infrastructure.
Secure First Boot On the first boot of your instance a one shot service generates a fresh administrator email and password, unique to that instance, seeds them as the Coolify root user and disables open self-registration, then writes the login to a root only file. The image ships with an empty database and no administrator, so no shared or default credentials ship in the image.
Ready To Use The dashboard is served on port 8000. Sign in with the generated administrator credentials to add servers, connect Git sources, deploy your first application and provision databases. The dashboard holds a live websocket connection so build logs and resource status stream in real time. The applications you deploy are published through Coolify's own Traefik proxy on ports 80 and 443.
cloudimg Support 24/7 technical support by email and chat. Help with deployment, connecting Git providers and servers, application and database deployment, the reverse proxy and HTTPS, environment and secret management, backups and runtime tuning.
Use Cases A self-hosted alternative to hosted PaaS platforms. Deploying web applications and APIs from Git on your own infrastructure. One-click managed databases for development and production. Standing up internal tools and services from a catalogue. Review and preview environments for development teams.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes

Usage instructions
Connect via SSH on port 22 as the default login user for your operating system variant (the user guide lists it per variant). The Coolify dashboard is served on port 8000: browse to http://<instance-public-ip>:8000/ and sign in with the generated administrator email and password. Retrieve the credentials with: sudo cat /root/coolify-credentials.txt. Coolify provides its own first-party email and password authentication; self-registration is disabled after the first-boot root administrator is seeded. The Coolify stack runs as a Docker compose stack managed by coolify.service (systemctl status coolify). Coolify runs its own built in Traefik reverse proxy on ports 80 and 443, which routes traffic to the applications you deploy. All Coolify state, including the application database, your per-application build state and managed SSH keys, lives on a dedicated data disk mounted at /data/coolify.
