An active AI provider account (such as OpenAI) may be required to use AI agent functionality. Security group access to TCP port 18789 is required for dashboard access.

Usage instructions

Launch an EC2 instance from this AMI.

Configure the Security Group to allow inbound TCP traffic on port 18789.

After the instance starts, open a web browser and navigate to:
http://<PUBLIC-IP>:18789

The OpenClaw Dashboard will load automatically.

Configure your preferred AI provider credentials (such as OpenAI or another supported provider) before using AI agent functionality.

Create a new session and begin interacting with your AI agents.
Notes: OpenClaw starts automatically during instance boot. Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is preconfigured and ready for use. An external AI provider account may be required for AI agent functionality. For production deployments, restrict Security Group access to trusted IP addresses whenever possible.
