Overview The Nuvrix Platform Engineering Retainer is the Co-operate phase of our Platform Engineering and DevSecOps service. It picks up after the Build phase and provides ongoing platform support, cost governance, and incremental platform evolution.
Platforms built well still need attention. Cost allocation drifts, new teams onboard and need golden path support, security policies need tuning, and the backlog of platform improvements never empties on its own. This retainer gives you access to platform engineering capacity each month without carrying the headcount.
What we do each month We run FinOps reviews to catch cost drift and act on optimisation opportunities. We provide SRE support incident playbook reviews, runbook updates, and platform reliability checks. We work through your platform evolution backlog: new golden paths, account vending improvements, policy updates, and tooling upgrades. Where AI workloads are in scope, we maintain observability coverage across your agent and inference infrastructure.
What you receive Each month you get a summary with actions taken and any anomalies flagged. You also get a platform evolution log documenting what changed, why, and what's next. Your team has access to the Nuvrix platform engineering team for questions between scheduled sessions.
Who it's for Organisations that have completed the Nuvrix Platform Engineering Build and want ongoing platform support without hiring for it. Also suited to teams with an existing AWS platform that needs regular FinOps attention and a trusted escalation path for platform issues.
How it works Onboarding takes one session to review the existing platform baseline and agree the initial backlog priorities. From there the retainer runs on a fixed monthly cadence. No project management overhead, no scope creep. Each month ends with a short review call and an updated backlog for the following month.
