Overview
This solution, jointly developed by ASACA Corporation and KDDI Corporation, is a cloud-native frame-rate conversion service optimized for international video transmission workflows. By transforming the advanced processing capabilities traditionally provided by on-premise hardware into a fully software-based architecture, it enables media organizations to adopt a more scalable and flexible cloud-based operational model.
At the core of the service is a GPU-accelerated, motion-compensated frame-rate conversion engine designed specifically for cloud-based video transport. It delivers high-quality, broadcast-grade frame interpolation for SRT-based content transmission workflows, providing stable performance for material exchange and cross-border distribution. While it may not be suitable for ultra-low-latency live streaming, the solution offers consistent, high-quality conversion for SRT transmission scenarios that do not require real-time latency.
Its cloud-native architecture allows users to scale resources as needed, integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, and deploy across multiple regions to support global distribution requirements. This solution is ideal for media companies seeking to reduce infrastructure overhead while ensuring cost-efficient, highly available, broadcast-grade frame-rate conversion in the cloud.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
