An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Step 1: Launch on t3.medium or larger. Step 2: SSH with ssh ubuntu@<public-ip>. Step 3: Run setup: sudo -u openclaw bash /opt/waltsoft/setup.sh. Step 4: Install Kiro CLI: curl -fsSL https://kiro.dev/install.sh | sudo -u openclaw bash. Step 5: Login: sudo -u openclaw kiro-cli login. Step 6: Set API key: sudo nano /home/openclaw/kiro-gateway/.env (change PROXY_API_KEY). Step 7: Start: sudo systemctl start kiro-gateway. Step 8: Test: curl http://<public-ip>:9000/v1/models -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR-KEY'. Connect IDE: Set API base to http://<public-ip>:9000/v1 with your PROXY_API_KEY. Models: claude-sonnet-4, claude-opus-4.5, claude-haiku-4.5, auto.
