Working alongside customer stakeholders, Level Up reviews the current virtualization environment, operational processes, infrastructure dependencies, and representative workloads to identify migration candidates and potential challenges. The assessment focuses on areas such as virtual machine inventory, workload suitability, storage and networking requirements, operational readiness, platform dependencies, disaster recovery considerations, licensing impacts, and opportunities to consolidate virtual machine and container operations on a unified platform. Special attention is given to helping organizations evaluate alternatives to legacy virtualization platforms and seeking practical migration strategies with minimal operational disruption.
At the conclusion of the engagement, customers receive a documented migration readiness assessment, workload categorization recommendations, architectural findings, risk analysis, and a prioritized migration roadmap. Rather than immediately launching into a proof of concept or migration project, this assessment provides decision-makers with critical information needed to determine whether OpenShift Virtualization is the right strategic fit, what effort will be required, and which workloads should be prioritized first. The result is a clear, actionable plan that can be used for budgeting, executive approvals, platform selection, and future migration initiatives.
