    Versent Managed Enterprise VM Platform

     Info
    Sold by: Versent
Managed multi‑tenant Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS for VMware exits. Lift‑and‑shift VMs to NC2 on AWS in weeks, no re‑platforming. Predictable OpEx, SLA‑backed, fully managed AHV.

    Overview

Versent Managed Enterprise VM Platform on AWS is a fully managed, multi‑tenant virtual machine platform built on Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) running on AWS bare‑metal infrastructure. It is designed to help mid‑to‑large enterprises migrate workloads from on-premises virtual infrastructure to the cloud in a fast and affordable manner, without the requirements for a full cloud‑native re‑architecture. Existing VM workloads run on Nutanix AHV with no changes inside the VMs - most customers complete migration in weeks rather than months.

The platform combines the native Nutanix experience - Prism console, AHV hypervisor, single‑pane management and Nutanix data services - with the elasticity, security and global reach of AWS.

Fully Managed Operations & AWS Integration Versent operates the cluster end‑to‑end: provisioning, capacity planning, patching, monitoring, incident response, enterprise support and SLA‑backed availability.

    The service uses:

    • Amazon EC2 bare‑metal instances as the Nutanix nodes
    • Amazon VPC for network isolation
    • AWS Direct Connect and AWS Site‑to‑Site VPN for secure hybrid connectivity
    • AWS IAM for access control
    • Amazon CloudWatch for telemetry and observability

Business Outcomes & Commercial Model Predictable Commercials: Customers consume the platform as predictable monthly OpEx priced per resource block (vCPU, RAM, storage), with no upfront capital outlay and a single Australian‑based partner accountable for the whole stack.

Resource Optimisation: Customers preserve their existing Nutanix skills and operational model, get a fast on‑ramp to AWS, and free engineering capacity to focus on application modernisation rather than infrastructure plumbing.

Partner Alignment: Versent is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and a Nutanix partner, and the offering is delivered as a joint Nutanix + Versent solution.

    Typical Use Cases

    • VMware exit and migration
    • Hybrid cloud
    • Disaster recovery
    • Data centre consolidation
    • Hardware refresh avoidance
    • The modernisation of legacy or obsolete workloads that cannot easily move cloud‑native

    Highlights

    • Migrate VMware or Nutanix VMs to Nutanix AHV on AWS bare-metal EC2 in weeks, not months.
    • Workloads move unchanged: same OS, apps, and operations, eliminating costly re-architecture. Ideal for VMware renewals, hardware refreshes, end-of-life platforms, or temporary VM hosting during cloud transformation.
    • Versent delivers and manages the platform end-to-end, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, support, and SLA-backed availability on AWS. Consume vCPU, RAM, and storage as a service with no upfront capex, no hardware management, and a single Australian AWS Premier Tier partner.
