Overview
The Gruve AI-Powered Search platform is designed to help with quick discovery and retrieval of the most relevant documents across a large historical corpus. Core capabilities include full-text search over ingested documents, improved relevance ranking, rich metadata, document preview, advanced filtering—all optimized to reduce time spent hunting for the right file and to support faster, more confident research workflows.
The solution is deployed into the customer’s own AWS environment, with the web application hosted via Amazon S3 static website endpoints, and is offered in AWS Marketplace as a professional services product that configures and runs on your existing AWS infrastructure; depending on the agreed architecture, it can integrate with your preferred AWS compute, storage, and search services (for example, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 or AWS Fargate, and Amazon OpenSearch Service) while maintaining your security and compliance boundaries.
The platform leverages AWS-native AI and database services, using AWS Bedrock for ranking and summarization, OCR via AWS Textract for scanned PDFs, and a combination of Amazon RDS, vector databases, and graph databases to implement graphRAG (graph-based Retrieval Augmented Generation) for richer document relationships and higher-quality retrieval performance across complex scientific corpora.
