Overview
If your organization is still running Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) 2.4 today, you are not simply a few minor versions behind. AAP 2.4 represents the previous generation of the platform architecture, predating Red Hat's transition to the containerized deployment model introduced in AAP 2.5 and expanded in AAP 2.6 and AAP 2.7. As a result, many organizations are not fully benefiting from the latest platform capabilities, operational improvements, and strategic direction of the Ansible Automation Platform.
Unlike many previous AAP version upgrades, there is no supported direct upgrade path from AAP 2.4 to AAP 2.7. Organizations must first upgrade to the latest AAP 2.4 release, then transition to AAP 2.6 RPM-based, then migrate to a new AAP 2.6 containerized installation using Red Hat-supported tooling and procedures, and then finally perform an in-place upgrade to AAP 2.7. This journey requires careful planning, infrastructure preparation, migration of automation assets, validation, testing, and operational readiness.

The listing is a subscription for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. It is subscription only and and is meant to be used with an instance of Ansible deployed on your AWS infrastructure following the standard guide for deploying Ansible following sizing guidelines. It can also be installed with an operator on Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA), or on OpenShift running directly on AWS infrastructure.
