Overview
Private AI Document Intelligence Server with Docling by Optick is a ready to launch AWS Marketplace AMI for document conversion, document intelligence, and AI ready content preparation. It is designed for teams that need to turn private business documents into structured outputs for AI search, RAG pipelines, knowledge bases, AI agents, and internal automation workflows.
This AMI includes Docling Serve running on Ubuntu 26.04 with Docker Compose and Nginx. Customers can use the branded Optick Converter for a simplified upload, convert, download, and optional S3 export workflow. Advanced users can also access the Docling Web UI and API documentation for deeper configuration and integration. Supported workflows include document conversion to Markdown, structured Docling output, hybrid RAG chunk generation, hierarchical RAG chunk generation, and S3 export through the customers own EC2 IAM role.
The server is designed for public IP based first launch use, so customers do not need a domain name to begin. First boot automation generates a fresh web login password, creates customer specific first login instructions, starts all services, and prepares the product for immediate browser access. The AMI includes helper commands for status checks, service logs, password reset, S3 setup, S3 validation, and test conversion.
This product is useful for AI teams, developers, data teams, knowledge management teams, compliance teams, and organizations preparing private document collections for AI workflows. It reduces the time needed to install, configure, secure, and expose a document intelligence stack on AWS. This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.
