BuildOS: Automated, Model-Based Work Instructions

Product video
Dirac's BuildOS is the first AI-driven, model-based production planning platform, closing the gap between engineering and manufacturing. By transforming the product model into the operational source of truth on the factory floor, BuildOS enables manufacturers to move from design to manufacturing with greater speed, precision, and standardization. This enables them to launch faster, adapt operations with precision, and scale complex production without losing engineering intent.
The platform sits across engineering and operations, continuously maintaining a model-based production definition that links design intent, process plans, quality requirements, and shop-floor execution. By unifying data across PLM, ERP, and MES environments, BuildOS automates the complex manufacturing planning workflows that teams traditionally reconcile by hand: engineering changes, assembly sequencing, MBOM creation, routings, and work instructions. It automatically sequences work across stations and lines as designs, volumes, or constraints shift, so changes propagate through plants before they reach the line.
Serving advanced manufacturers across aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial sectors, Dirac establishes the dynamic production layer required to ramp complex builds quickly, strengthen labor resilience, and maintain a continuous digital thread. Running on AWS, BuildOS is highly available, secure, and ready for regulated environments from day one.
Highlights
- Model-based production source of truth: Transform the product model into the operational source of truth on the factory floor, connecting design intent, process plans, quality requirements, and shop-floor execution in one model-based production definition.
- Automated planning across PLM, MES, and ERP: Automate complex manufacturing planning workflows (engineering changes, assembly sequencing, MBOM creation, routings, and work instructions) by unifying data across fragmented PLM, MES, and ERP environments.
- Scale complex production with a continuous digital thread: Automatically sequence and re-sequence work as designs, volumes, or constraints shift. This allows manufacturers to ramp faster, strengthen labor resilience, and maintain engineering intent end to end.

All BuildOS subscriptions include standard support throughout the term of the subscription. Dirac uses commercially reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability and to provide standard support to customers and their authorized users. Implementation assistance, including training, is available upon request, and in most cases there is no implementation cost. As a web-based platform, BuildOS requires no customer-executed updates or maintenance; upgrades, patches, and enhancements are provided as part of the service, generally at no additional charge.
AWS infrastructure support
AWS Support is a one-on-one, fast-response support channel that is staffed 24x7x365 with experienced and technical support engineers. The service helps customers of all sizes and technical abilities to successfully utilize the products and features provided by Amazon Web Services.
