    AWS Well-Architected Review

     Info
    Sold by: LSD Open
Assess AWS workloads against the Well-Architected Framework to identify risks and optimisation opportunities. LSD Open delivers a prioritised remediation backlog and helps organisations qualify for AWS remediation funding.

    Overview

The AWS Well-Architected Review from LSD Open provides a structured evaluation of workloads running on Amazon Web Services to ensure alignment with AWS best practices.

Many organisations operate workloads on AWS that have evolved over time and may contain configuration gaps, performance inefficiencies, or security risks. This engagement identifies those issues and provides a clear path to improving architecture quality and operational performance.

During this engagement, LSD Open architects assess selected workloads using the AWS Well-Architected Tool. Through architecture analysis, technical workshops, and configuration reviews, we evaluate how closely environments align with AWS best practices and identify risks that may impact system performance, resilience, or security.

The review evaluates workloads across six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework:

Operational Excellence Security Reliability Performance Efficiency Cost Optimisation Sustainability

At the end of the engagement, LSD Open delivers a Well-Architected findings report and a prioritised remediation backlog. This outlines architecture risks, recommended improvements, and opportunities to enhance performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.

Organisations completing this review may also become eligible for AWS remediation funding programmes, helping offset the cost of implementing recommended improvements.

    Key outcomes include:

Structured assessment of AWS workloads using the Well-Architected Framework Identification of high risk architecture patterns and configuration gaps Prioritised remediation backlog aligned with AWS best practices Improved security, reliability, and cost efficiency across workloads Guidance on accessing AWS remediation funding programmes

The service evaluates environments built on AWS services including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, AWS Identity and Access Management, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS Auto Scaling.

This engagement supports organisations in optimising production workloads, improving system resilience, and preparing environments for scale, modernisation, and AI workloads on AWS.
