    Overview

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for cloudimg support services.

Overview Easy!Appointments is a powerful open source, self-hosted online appointment scheduler that lets your customers book appointments with your providers around the clock, from any device. This image delivers Easy!Appointments fully installed and configured as a production LAMP application, so a complete scheduling system is running within minutes of launch, with all of your booking data staying on your own server.

Application Stack Easy!Appointments running on PHP 8.3 with php-fpm, served by nginx on port 80. A MariaDB database stores every appointment, customer, provider and service on a dedicated data disk so it is independently resizable and survives instance replacement. Systemd manages the database, the PHP FastCGI workers and the web server, starting them on boot and restarting them on failure.

Self-Hosted Online Scheduling Publish a public booking page where customers pick a service, a provider and an available time slot, and confirm in a few clicks. Manage everything from the admin calendar: appointments, customers, services and service categories, providers and secretaries with their own working plans, blocked periods, unavailabilities and working-plan exceptions. Send email notifications and ICS calendar invites, sync provider calendars with Google Calendar and CalDAV, and drive everything programmatically through the built in REST API with per token access.

Secure First Boot On the first boot of your instance a one shot service generates a fresh database password and a fresh administrator password, both unique to that instance, installs the schema, creates the administrator account and pins the application to your instance address. The administrator password is written to a file only the root user can read, and no shared or default credentials ship in the image.

Ready To Use The public booking page and the admin backend are served on port 80 through nginx. Sign in to the backend with the generated administrator credentials to add your services and providers, set working plans, configure notifications and integrations, and share your booking link with customers.

cloudimg Support 24/7 technical support by email and chat. Help with deployment, services and providers setup, working plans and availability, email and calendar notifications, Google Calendar and CalDAV sync, the REST API, user management, database tuning, TLS and scaling.

Use Cases Self-hosted online appointment booking for clinics, salons, consultants, tutors and service businesses. A privacy-respecting, data-owning alternative to hosted scheduling SaaS. Multi-provider, multi-service scheduling with working plans and exceptions. Customer self-service booking with email and calendar notifications. API-driven scheduling embedded in your own site.

    Additional details

    Usage instructions

Connect via SSH on port 22 as the default login user for your operating system variant (the user guide lists it per variant). The Easy!Appointments booking page and admin backend are served on port 80: browse to http://<instance-public-ip>/ for the public booking page, and http://<instance-public-ip>/index.php/login to sign in to the backend with user administrator and the generated password. Retrieve the credentials with: sudo cat /root/easy-appointments-credentials.txt. Only nginx on port 80 is exposed publicly; PHP runs under php-fpm and MariaDB listens on loopback only. The booking database lives on a dedicated data disk mounted at /var/lib/mysql. First boot pins the application to your instance address; the user guide explains how to add a custom domain, enable HTTPS, and configure the REST API token, email notifications and Google Calendar / CalDAV sync.
