Opsole Migrate is a purpose-built enterprise endpoint migration engine that transitions Windows devices into a clean Microsoft Entra ID Joined state while preserving the existing Windows OS state and user profile experience.
It operates at the system configuration layer and follows a privacy-first data model. Opsole Migrate does not read, inspect, scan, or copy user file contents, and transmits only purpose-limited device/identity metadata required for licensing, operational telemetry, and optional recovery assurance.
Key Capabilities
- Migrate devices from Local AD Join to Entra Join
- Convert Hybrid Entra Joined to Cloud-only Entra Join
- Cross-tenant (tenant-to-tenant) device migrations for M&A/divestitures
- Preserve user profile and OS state in place
- BitLocker recovery key handling (when enabled)
- Autopilot alignment / registration support
Customer Value Proposition
- Reduce migration risk by using a repeatable automation engine to modernize device identity to Entra ID Join without wipe-and-rebuild disruption.
- Protect user productivity by preserving OS state and user profile in place rather than recreating profiles or moving user content.
- Strengthen security posture with customer-controlled Entra app registration / Graph permissions and optional recovery assurance handling (BitLocker/LAPS).
- Scale enterprise rollouts using documented prerequisites and configuration guardrails for Intune/Entra readiness.
Highlights
- Zero-wipe migration: Seamlessly transitions devices from AD-Joined, Hybrid Entra-Joined, and cross-tenant states to a clean Entra ID Join without requiring a device wipe or reimage.
- Profile preserved in place: Maintains the users existing desktop environment, applications, and settings as-is through controlled system-level ownership and permission alignment.
- Privacy-first by design: Operates entirely at the system configuration layer and does not read, inspect, scan, or copy user file contents, ensuring strict enterprise data compliance.
