Smooth ERP and Warehouse Integration with Reliable Visual Automation

    Reviewed on May 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
FME integrates smoothly with our ERP, warehouse systems, and supplier platforms, without requiring custom development.

Its visual workflow interface lets our supply chain staff build, adjust, and maintain data processes on their own, which makes day-to-day changes much easier.

Scheduled automations run reliably and consistently, reducing the need for manual exports for inventory tracking and supplier performance reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building more advanced workflows takes time to learn and test properly.

For a nonprofit of our size, the licensing fees are significant, so we regularly review how much we’re using it to make sure the value still makes sense.

Working with very large datasets can be slow on standard hardware, so it requires planning and setting expectations upfront.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FME brings inventory levels, order details, and supplier data together in a single, consistent format that supports reporting and analysis.

It also automates routine data transfers between systems, which reduces manual entry and helps minimize errors. As a result, our supply chain team can access accurate information more quickly and use it with greater confidence for demand planning and fulfillment decisions.

Overall, FME has improved data reliability and cut down on repetitive tasks across our supply chain operations. While the initial learning curve and cost still need to be managed, the efficiency gains and better accuracy make it a valuable tool for coordinating complex data in a mid-to-large nonprofit organization.

Flexibility and Automation with Performance Challenges

    Reviewed on May 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about FME Platform is its flexibility and the automation it offers. The visual workshop greatly facilitates the creation and maintenance of processes. It has been very valuable because it has significantly reduced the manual work related to data integration, transformation, and validation. It also helps me automate complex workflows and have more consistent and centralized information for reporting and analysis, which greatly improves the team's daily efficiency. One of the strongest advantages of FME is precisely the ability to connect multiple systems and formats within a single automated file, which greatly facilitates data integration between different teams and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex workflows and debugging can become a bit difficult, especially when working with large datasets or very advanced transformations. There is also an initial learning curve, and some processes may feel heavy in performance depending on the complexity of the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use FME Platform to integrate and automate data flows between diverse systems, increasing efficiency and reducing errors. Its flexibility and the Visual workshop facilitate both the creation and maintenance of processes, ensuring consistent and centralized information for analysis. This optimizes the team's daily performance.

Stronger Security and Faster Troubleshooting with FME

    Reviewed on May 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
FME has strengthened our security by helping us identity vulnerabilities across our assets and better protect our data. It also enables faster response times when troubleshooting a wide range of issues. We use it to transform BIM data to improve interoperability, and the FME Server based workflows help us analyse and transform that data more efficiently. Overall, it has also been a helpful part of our AWS Cloud work.
What do you dislike about the product?
FME sometimes has delays when I request a password change. When I try to confirm the change, the link occasionally opens whit an error. I am not aware of any other issues, and everything works fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FME help provides 24/7 access for reporting bugs and issues, and it also makes it easier to find and navigate the documentation. I appreciate the personalised guidance for managing complex workflows and delivering data, especially when things get complicated. FME also helpful to have direct access to connect with a technical expert, and the ETL tool supports real-world computing and AR experience as well.

FME Streamlined Multi-Agency Flood Risk Data Consolidation

    Reviewed on May 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Our project involved consolidating flood risk data from four agencies. FME reader library handled all of it without needing third party converters or pre processing scripts. Statistics Calculator and Clipper transformers let us get catchment summaries and clip to ward boundaries in same pass. As consultant working across multiple clients i also value that workspaces are portable. I build something for one council and adapt it for another in much less time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running a large flood risk workspace across county wide dataset and FME Desktop stopped working mid translation. Memory usage climbed and it just failed. We fixed it by restructuring into chunked reads with FeatureReader but that is not obvious if you are not already deep in FME optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data cleaning and format fixing used to take maybe 40% of early project phase. Now it is closer to 15%. The flood risk project was delivered 2 weeks ahead of schedule partly because of that. What i did not expect was how it changed client conversations. Showing council officer the workspace log proving exactly how their data was transformed and validated. That builds trust in a way that is hard to do otherwise.
